Does this mean I should add plants to list of witnesses to eliminate?

Alphie still runs in 800x600 so it looks right on his screen.

Star Citizen / Re: Holy Crap... this is getting good

Subscribers got it first, but I know they have started rolling it out to backers as well.
I'm waiting for it to hit the public server. Mostly because my download sucks too bad to suffer through the download twice :)
I haven't played since the first alpha demo. Decided it was best to wait for them to get the controls ironed out. I'm hoping they break down and simplify a bit by time the go live.

I was under the impression that only subscribers (give a little money each month) can play it now.  It should be released shortly for everyone else.  I heard they were trying to get it out before Christmas.
I received PU 3.0 alpha invite emails last month... I think I've gotten those emails for every PU update.

General RPG / Re: Witcher 3

If you guys are liking Witcher 3, the latest Assasins Creed Origins would be comparable. Its easily 70+ hours of gameplay and they haven't released the DLC yet. I like the path they've taken to go more RPG with loot drops and upgrading gear.

Letterboxing is another one you can do.
Is that the one where you drive around with a buddy and one hangs out the window to hit mailboxes with a baseball bat?

Dare I ask what "battle rope" is?

I was trying to decide the same thing, as I was curious too.

I've done it with my nephew a few times, but hardly can say I'm active...
Please tell me its not a euphemism...

Just can't bring myself to play an FPS on a console. I fail at the controller.

That said, I did pre-order Destiny 2 for the PC and will be dabbling with that. Mostly due to Ironhawk doing some of the art for it and gently twisting my arm, but I've heard enough good things about it that it should be fun to fool around in regardless.

Of course, it still requires putting down my glue and paint brushes and grabbing my mouse, so we'll see how well that goes
that's ok. Microsoft is currently working on bringing mouse and keyboard to Xbox One :D

I like the sound of it!

As Ded says though:
I wish we could play across platforms.
Microsoft is trying to talk Sony into it. They aren't quite there yet, but maybe someday.
My understanding is Fortnite did a cross platform "unintentionally", at this point Sony is holding out because the PS4 is outselling xbox and they want to keep it that way to keep a hold of their "exclusive content" agreements.

They're not going to let PC's into that party though. All the PC gamers would kick the butts of the console gamers...
Word has it for Destiny 2 PC version from beta players is the controller got enough aim assist in crucible to even the odds, if not better.

They've been saying that for 3+ years now. That aside, I have considered getting one of those M/KB emulators, but I hear they are a pain to get fine tuned.

Star Citizen / Re: Got rid of my Gladiator
« on: September 18, 2017, 10:10:32 am »
The Aquila looks to be a well rounded ship, nice choice!

Thanks Horns and Philo.  There are so many bombers now, most of them seem much better than the original Gladiator.  Just too many unknowns to keep it in my inventory; the other bombers look far more bigger and sexier.  I was able to upgrade my Gladiator to the Aquila and the LTI carried over to it.  I didn't have an explorer ship, so I thought it made sense, especially since it comes with a buggy and Merlin. :D

I like the Eclipse, mainly because it looks like the old Solrain bomber.  I will probably just help the guys out in the Retaliators on big missions, since full crew is 6!  :waaaht:
You can crew my Retaliator any time, Alphy :D
Parking in the rear, must provide own dust cover.
