Anyone running Wasteland 2 on low end machine?
« on: May 18, 2015, 03:44:39 pm »
Anyone running Wasteland 2 on low end machine? Got wasteland 2 and yet to play it, sadly with my motherboard toast going though the games i have to see what I can play on my laptop. It' says it requires a ati HD 4850 at least and my laptop is this: vista 64bit 2.1 ghz Turlon 2x 4gb ram, Ati HD 3200 (sadly shares system ram). Would have to delete some other games then DL over 20gb for the game and hate to do that if I got no chance of running the game.

My machine is pretty good so I didn't have to worry about those issues.

But they did design it so it could be played on lower power machines.
There are tons of options you can turn down to get it running smoother.
But you will miss out on some of the spectacular graphics and backgrounds that you get with the settings turned all the way up.

Well why not dammit?"
