Game did so well that Paradox said "Let's make this permanent."

Paradox bought Harebrained Studios yesterday with the intent of making them their Turn Based Strategy Game Division.
So the studio stays intact but now with the financial and business logistics backing of Paradox.

All good news if you were hoping for more expansions and new titles from the Battletech/Shadow Run universes.

IceGhost is hedging his bets with this "Best show since <insert show not as good as The Expanse>"

Best Sci-fi series ever on TV.  :rockband:

Firefly was better but not by much.

I want a show that is only Amos and Jayne from Firefly.

I may load it up.
It was a lot of fun building things.
And hunting whores for my brothel.

The Nutty Cutthroat Mercenary Company is jobbing their way through the Periphery right now.

Very fun game. Building/Capturing/Salvaging new mech chassis is a bit addictive.

Anyone who was on the fence, get it.

I ended up grabbing an HP Omen.

Intel i7-7700
with a Radeon RX580 and 12G of RAM.

Sounds like it is just like StarDruids except it has the Radeon model of the Nvidia 1060.

Got it for just a shade under 1k, which was actually 50 bucks cheaper than I found the same model for on amazon.
I made the sales guy stand there and watch me while I price checked on amazon.

Any suggestions on the minimum specs I should be looking for in a gaming laptop?

Trying to keep the price tag under a grand.

The fact that Paradox is attached as the publisher makes my dirty bits extra sensitive.

Paradox has yet to be involved in something that I didn't love.
And Harebrained made Shadowrun Returns, which I loved.......

I guess it is time to crack the tower open.
Hope it is just the video card and not the motherboard that has gone wonky on me.

The new Battletech game looks really fun.

Kind of XCOMish.

I am currently between video cards (too disinterested to go through the trouble of fixing my PC).
If yall say this is a winner, it might get me off my PS4.

I only eat things with a higher IQ than myself.

Luckily, that includes most vegetables and quite a few fruits.

I bought it too. I will have a read on the Kindle when I get home.

It didn't charge me any money. Said it was on sale for .00

I'm suffering from an erection that has lasted longer than 4 hours.  I'm scared.

This game by the Trese Brothers just dropped on Steam.
I was a Kickstarter backer. Looks really neat.
Not necessarily the kind of game play that a lot of us get into, but anything with "Massive Space Open World Sanbox" will pique my interest.

A lot of the game has to do with a giant interconnected space economy.
I expect to run into FRG and isorg wrecking the place.

Lakeland? Are you trying to get as far from pyldrvr as possible?

Welcome to Florida, where not being crazy is crazy.

Anyone started playing it yet?

I played the original Shadow of Mordor non stop and loved it.
Holding off on this one just because I am still into Destiny 2.

SOW looks amazing and the Nemesis system looks like it is incredibly deep.
The unique orcs in the first game were easily the most fun part.
I was thinking about getting it because it is an XBOX Play Anywhere title, meaning I can play it on PC or Xbox for one price and the games will save across platforms, but I've read some mixed reviews on it so I have held off.

Pyldrvr is letting a console influence his gaming decisions. And I thought the slow activity was the sign that the end is truly near  :stupid:

It's not too long before he says something like "I only game on my phone now."

And eventually we will find him on his deck yelling at a solar calculator.
