Has anyone downloaded and played yet?  I thought about doing it this weekend, I just wanted to know what everyone who supported it thinks?

I've been playing it. It is still pretty bare bones, but they are releasing new stuff every week. It has a lot of potential and is worth downloading to check it out at this point, but won't be a fully fleshed out game for quite a while yet.

The permadeath feature is pretty interesting. Definitely makes you value your character's life. I've got a character up to level 14 right now and is the highest I've gotten without dying so far. The creatures don't scale yet though, so I'm basically a God walking the lands at this point. I did kill another dude in a dungeon that I came across. Grabbed all his stuff. That's part of what helped me get past the early hump.

I'm waiting for them to get the dedicated server client done so I can put up a SN server for us to play on.

Hi folks,
Sorry for the lack of news or updates. To put it bluntly here part of being a startup means money is tight and funding is a major part of what we have to do as a startup. We're working through some things and I appreciate your patience. Sorry for not being more transparent on this particular issue but the simple truth is sometimes there isn't much that we can say. More info soon.

I take it they used up all of their funding on this? Are they going to complete it? or is this a dead mule?

No one knows for sure. Very cryptic message from smedley, to say the least.

Yeah it had very good potential. People seem quite surprised the studio is giving refunds, other seem to have told them to keep it and Smedley specifically said that he want people to get their money back.

I request a refund and just fund a different project with it when i see a good one.
